Kilgore's Cycling Stories

If you enjoy reading cycling stories then these pages are for you. Currently on offer are:

dangerWarning! You are welcome to read the stories in these pages but please bear in mind that they are roughly-edited emails that I used to post to a friend on the day following the ride. Often these were typed with me slumped exhausted and half-asleep at the computer, occasionally waking up to find with my face stuck to the monitor - so please forgive the stream-of-consciousness style. In particular you should be aware that these pages contain:

  • Bad language (occasional)
  • Profanity (mild)
  • Poor grammar and spelling errors (obscene and multitudinous)

Please go no further if you are easily offended by any of these things.

You may wish to know:

  • These pages have been tested with Netscape Navigator 3.0 only. They look best in an A4-proportioned portrait window.
  • Most of the photos have an associated URL in the accompanying text. Following the link (or clicking on the photo) will take you to a large high resolution version of the photo. Some of these are really worth seeing (IMHO) although the files can be quite large.
  • people have visited this page since 23/3/97.
  • These structure of these pages is still under development so please don't bookmark any pages other than this one.

I'd be interested to know if you have any comments about these pages, or if you know of links to other pages of cycling stories. Please let me know if so.

Warning! Persistent cycling can damage your mind to the extent that you consider it acceptable to look like this (28k) in public:

The height of fashion?

Or, indeed, this (46k):

What sartorial elegance!

Please note that I am not alone (66k) in my discerning choice of headgear...

Who is this guy?
